It's been a minute since I posted a recipe on the blog, but with temperatures soaring this summer, I couldn't resist sharing this cool, sweet treat. It's sooo simple too! This Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe is way better than store bought, healthier, and so simple. I promise you can't mess it up ;)
Add it to a bowl of fruit, your favorite cake, top your coffee with it, or enjoy it by itself. Any way you serve it will taste great!
Ingredients
16oz of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 tsp Vanilla
Maple Syrup to taste
Directions
Pour heavy whipping cream into medium bowl and whisk for 1-2 minutes using an electric hand mixer or a mixing stand. *Note* you can use a regular whisk, I have done it before, but your arm will be tired and it will take quite a while.
Add vanilla and maple syrup. I add about a tablespoon of maple syrup but you can do more or less depending on what you are serving the whipped cream with.
Whisk until soft peaks form. You can make the whipped cream as soft or firm as you like - the more firm, the longer it will last in the refrigerator.
Serve. Eat. Enjoy! Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
This Homemade Whipped Cream recipe will yield approximately 3 to 3.5 cups of whipped cream depending on how long you whisk it.
